ABDC Reflection

This is a reflection in which I consider ways in which Catholic Charities considers assets. EXPL 390 was not the first class I heard about Asset Based Community Development (ABDC), but I had never considered ways in which Catholic Charites may be focused on an asset-based approach or a need-based approach. I tried my best to articulate ways in which Catholic Charities considers both approaches. I also consider my own work, and the extent to which I focus on assets and need. I reflect on how my internship experiences influenced my understanding of community development, and ways I could continue my understanding at my internship site.
